The 26
For The 26 project, I researched 26 alphabets by exploring its shape and figure and playing around with its characteristics — worked imagery on the background. I wanted to make a story that how the alphabet came up with my imagination.
Throughout the project, I developed my skills in illustration, photography, and drawing. Also, I gained creativity by following each step of pencil and digital sketches, which allowed me to explore and experiment with typography.

Came up with 4 pencil sketches to brainstorm ideas for alphabet L. Observed everyday objects such as L shape square ruler, clock hands, stairs, and socks that bring up the image of alphabet L.

Selected one of four pencil sketches from critique and developed a digital draft. Dropped off the numbers on the clock to drive the eyes into the clock's hands.

Added the depth of the object with shadow and highlight. Simplified the shape of clock hands to celebrate the shape of the alphabet itself. Finalized with the background to have a story.

Worked on 4 pencil sketches to brainstorm ideas for alphabet J. Observed everyday objects and a person's face that brings up the image of the alphabet J.

Selected one of four pencil sketches from critique and developed a digital draft. Added rains on the background to have a story and connection with alphabet J.

Developed the draft twisting the angle of the umbrella to have a whole image of the umbrella on the artboard conveying a visual message where alphabet J came from.
